In order to connect to the VPN or WiFi you will need your reader‘s card number and password. Before attempting to connect please verify that your password contains:
- no fewer than six characters;
- at least one lower-case and capital letter;
- at least one digit
If your password does not meet these criteria, you must connect to the library‘s electronic catalogue and change the password (steps: My card > Password Change)
WLLAS VPN service provides the Library‘s readers with remote access to the Library‘s computer network. It is especially usefull for remote access to the Library‘s subscribed databases.
The use of the VPN connection within the Library‘s premises is not recommended as it would limit the use of network resources while not giving any benefits to the user.
WWLAS WiFi is a wireless access network that enables the Library‘s patrons to connect to the Internet and access the subscribed databases from their personal computers or mobile devices while on the premises of the library.
The Library has three user networks:
- MABskaitytojams –for the use of readers over 18
- MABjaunimas – for the use of readers under 18
- MABinfo – for all readers (no user ID or password is necessary)
eduroam (Education Roaming) – international wireless access (WiFi) network for academic institutions. In the Wroblewski Library of the Academy of Scieces, only the staff and eduroam users from another institution may use this network.
